GoRilla: GoRilla is a freeware Windows product that loads, edits, and stores SGF files.
KaTrain: A graphical user interface paired with KataGo that works out of the box to play and analyze games with the bot.
Lizzie: A analysis program that is a useful graphical interface for LeelaZero, KataGo, or Pachi.
PANDA-glGo: A 3D and 2D Goban, game viewer and editor, client for IGS-PandaNet and interface for GNU Go.

Bots (No Cost)
The following are programs you can download for free to play against or analyze previously played games. Some work well on a variety of platforms. Typically, a graphical user interface is needed to work well.
GnuGo: An open source go program.
KataGo: A strong bot, that can correctly analyze handicap games and provide score estimates.
Leela: Leela is a strong Go playing program combining advances in Go programming and further original research into a small, easy to use graphical interface.
LeelaZero: Very strong bot, there are many nice gtp editors to allow playing and reviewing games with LeelaZero.
Pachi: A nice bot that is 2d to 7d and does not need to be run on very good hardware.
These programs do not play, but they are designed to show you things that may improve your play. Searchable game collections, joseki tutors and other 'treating software' can be found in this category. Most of these programs are commercial products.

The following programs enable you to record or review games. Some also allow you to save variations, make comments, mark alternate moves, print diagrams and so on. Each has its own interface, unique features and drawbacks. Programs that only work on one platform are sorted separately.
Cgoban: Client for the KGS Go Server. Includes an SGF file editor for recording and reviewing game records.
Go Review Partner: Useful program that can have a bot analyze sgf games.
Sabaki: A very nice graphical user interface for Windows, Mac and Linux.
Windows
BiGo: Database of more than 100,000+ professional games and 3,000,000 games. Also has joseki and fuseki programs.
Drago: Browse and edit files, print and export, and play against GnuGo. Useful for organizing and searching patterns in large databases.
GoGrinder: a Java program for practicing go problems in SGF format. 347 problems are included in the install, and thousands more are easily downloadable (pointers in the documentation).
GoWrite: Recording software with many advanced options for printing game records.
JaGo: This game recorder also works as an IGS client.

Some go servers on the internet require you to provide your own 'client', a graphic interface that converts code transmitted by the server into a user friendly visual display. Some of these programs also allow you to read sgf files.

Here are the details and formats of how to interface with AGA-related software for pairing, tournaments, and ratings.Format for Ratings Submission
Swiss McMahon tournaments have been used within the AGA for several decades. While this has been successful in the past, the lack of written documentation presents problems for first-time tournament directors who find themselves without instructional resources. Programmers wishing to create computer pairing programs are unclear on the algorithm required to implement such a system.
To fill this gap, the AGA now presents two documents. The first, the AGA Swiss McMahon: Pairing Protocol Standards, describe how a Swiss McMahon tournament is to be paired in AGA events. The second document, AGA Swiss McMahon: Program Interface and Reporting Requirements, lays out minimal user interface standards for an AGA compliant pairing program. The AGA is prepared to certify programs that meet the combined pairing and interface/reporting standards as 'AGA compliant' in a vendor-neutral fashion. My Go Cart is not charging
- Make sure the fuse in go kart is good.
- Check the wires behind the fuse holder and the charging jack. Sometimes they come loose.
My Go Kart will not start
- Make sure you have fuel getting to the carburetor.
- Check the spark plug for sign of wear and tear.
- Try using starting fluid to aid the starting process, spray a little into the carburetor.
- If it starts by spraying starting fluid and dies as soon it runs out of starting fluid then this means there is no fuel getting to the engine. Check the carburetor.
- Or there might be vacuum leak in the piston area. If your piston is badly scratched up due to the lack of oil, then you need to replace piston and rings to get compression.
My Go Kart starts sometimes but often times it does not
- Is the spark plug dirty? Clean or replace it if it is
- Make sure the carburetor and the intake manifold are tightly secured to the engine.
- Check the gasket between the carburetor and intake manifold. Sometimes the gasket is bad and may cause a leak. Solution: replace new gasket or just toss the bad gasket away and screw carburetor back. Try to start again.
My Go Kart bogs out when I give it gas
- Adjust the screw with the spring on the side of the carburetor. Clockwise to reduce gas flow and counterclockwise to allow more gas follow. This problem often occurs because your carburetor is flooding.
- Give time for it to warm up.
- Adjust the choke on the carburetor
- If none of these steps work then you must replace your carburetor.

- Check the gasket between the carburetor and intake manifold. It might be bad or maybe the carburetor came loose due to engine vibration.
How do I adjust the carburetor?
The brass color screw located below on the side of the carburetor, next to the choke lever is for the fuel and air mixture. Start by turning this screw (clockwise) until it stops. Don't turn it in tight, just until it stops. Next, turn the screw out two full turns (counter-clockwise). This is the factory setting. You should be able to start and operate the Go Kart with this setting. Once you have it running, you can adjust it. Never turn the screw more than 1/8 of a turn at a time. Turning it in too much will cause the motor to run lean at full speed and may burn a piston. Also, running too lean will cause a loss of low end power. Once you get the mixture set you can adjust the idle, it should be low enough that the engine doesn't vibrate. Finally make sure you have the choke lever down completely after the Go Kart is started and warmed up.
There is also a main jet adjustment screw dead center on the top of the carburetor. This is frequently set at 1 full turn out. If this is not adjusted correctly, your go kart may not run, or run very poorly. Once again, turn screw all the way in (clockwise) and then out (counter-clockwise) 360 degrees (1 full turn).

How do I avoid my engine from locking?
Make sure there is oil getting to the piston and needle bearing areas. Certain oils can’t cling on when the engine gets too hot. As a result, the needle bearing may fall apart inside and cause the engine to lock. You’ll have to buy a new engine or try to rebuild it. Be sure to always maintain proper engine oil levels to help prevent this from happening.

Possible causes for a dead battery

- Using the headlight, electric start and alarm (if applicable) too much will drain the battery.
- Go kart does have the ability to charge itself but slowly. An optional charger can be purchased at any local automotive stores.
- Most new go-karts would have a full charge and it would be displayed on the battery gauge. But in time, the batteries will lose their ability to hold a full charge. That's normal!
- Overcharging the battery. Most of the batteries charging cycle are around 250-300 times.
- Inactivity. If the battery power drops beyond a certain point, the charger will not recognize it. Sometimes you could jump start the batteries by using a higher AMP charger.
