Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning (or simply Baldi's Basics) is an American free-to-play survival horrorindie video game. It was released on March 30, 2018 for PC. Baldi's Basics is a parody: It looks like a bad educational video game from the 1990s, but it is really a survival horror game.on March 24, 2021 Baldi's Basics Mystman12 he says is out of early access full game March 31, 2021![1]

The player must find their friend's seven notebooks that are spread throughout the school, without being caught by their teacher, Baldi, and being hindered by the other students and faculty.[2]
The game was initially made as an entry in the annual Meta-Game Jam, where it received 2nd place.[3] It became popular for its humor-like difficulty and strange-looking levels.[4] Popular YouTubers such as Markiplier made videos showing themselves playing the game.[5]
The developer launched a Kickstarter for the game, asking the public for money. The developer announced that the full game would be released sometime in late 2019 or early 2020. The Kickstarter, as of February 4, 2019, had raised a total US$61,375.[6]
On August 13, 2019, the Baldi's Basics full game demo was released for the public.
An enhanced Kickstarter Exclusive Demo came out on November 5, 2019.

On March 31, 2020, Baldi's Basics Plus was announced in itch.io. The early access trailer was posted on May 9, 2020 and it was released for early access on June 12, 2020.

In the YouTube comedy channel, The Annoying Orange, Baldi and four other characters became a recurring characters since the Let’s Play videos for the game on the Annoying Orange Gaming channel and the upload of the episode, “Annoying Orange vs. Baldi,” on September 3, 2018, when Orange attends Baldi’s math class and annoys Baldi himself. As a recurring character, Baldi appeared in many Annoying Orange episodes and challenge videos voiced by Daneboe. He also appeared as a hack in the gaming videos for Toca Kitchen 2, Untitled Goose Game, Sticky Bodies, and Turbo Dismount. He also appears as a character in an upcoming episode of AYCMS.

As promised in our campaign, the Toybox isn’t a traditional ‘demo’, but a self-contained, spoiler-free sandbox designed to give Yooka-Laylee backers a taste of the platforming to come in the final game. There are moves to try, custom-built props to play with, secrets to discover and yes, shiny collectibles to hunt out and we’ve even included a never-before-seen NPC to chatter with, but it’s only a small sample of the finished production – and visually it’s incomparable.
Our intention with the Toybox is to offer our loyal backers the chance to be the first people outside Playtonic to try out Yooka-Laylee’s core mechanics, and we’ll also be gathering your feedback on stuff like controls, cameras and movement.
